How the Background Remover Works
Upload your product image in JPG, PNG, or WEBP format. The AI analyzes the image and separates the subject from the background using the REMBG open source model — the same technology used by professional photo editing software. The result is a clean PNG with a transparent background ready to use in Midjourney with Nano Banana Pro, in your Shopify store, or in any design tool. Processing takes 3 to 10 seconds depending on image complexity. Your images are processed securely and never stored on our servers.
What to Do With Your Transparent PNG
- Place your product into AI-generated scenes using Nano Banana Pro
- Upload to Amazon, Etsy, or Shopify, which require white background images
- Create product mockups in Canva or Adobe Express
- Use as a reference image in Midjourney with the --cref parameter
- Layer into social media graphics without a background clash
Tips for Best Results
- Use images with clear contrast between subject and background
- Photograph products against a plain light or dark background for cleanest results
- Maximum file size is 10MB — compress large files before uploading
- For products with fine details like jewelry or hair, a plain white background gives the most accurate edge detection
- Download your PNG immediately — processed images are not stored
